Ambassador Program

ABOUT:

The Greater Talladega Area Chamber Ambassador Program provides many exciting and unique opportunities for students within our region. Students within our ambassador program learn to grow as individuals while also serving others throughout our communities. This program will provide students the opportunity to network with other students from various schools, develop leadership skills, learn about businesses in our region and more. In addition to these unique opportunities, high school seniors who have served as an ambassador in prior years will be eligible for letters of recommendations and scholarships by the end of the school year.

ARE ALL STUDENTS ACCEPTED?

No. Acceptance into the ambassador program is NOT guaranteed. Acceptance will be determined by the Ambassador Committee based on the applicant’s interview, grades, letters of reference, experience, and willingness to serve.

All applicants must complete the online application & attend an interview by the Ambassador Committee.

APPLICATION ELGIBILITY:

All applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a student between 7th – 12th grade within the Greater Talladega Area Region (Munford, Eastaboga, Lincoln, Alpine, Talladega, Winterboro)
• Have a scholastic average of 80 or above. Certified by the applicant’s principal/vice-principle.
• Complete the application form online. 
• Attend a scheduled interview (time and date to be determined).
• Willing and able to volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per month.
• Attend all monthly Ambassador meetings and scheduled work times.
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to serve others.
